Discover the folkloric roots of northern Argentina withs this Salta cultural tour. Enjoy a guided tour of the poets’ and musicians’ principal venues in Salta.
Salta is the birthplace of folklore in Argentina. Folklórico, in Spanish, encompasses traditional music and dancing. With this special, unique activity, you’ll learn the basic dance steps, which you can practice at a peña, a venue (and party) where folklore is practiced. In the two-hour class, taught by outstanding dancers from La Vieja Estación, you will learn the basic techniques of gato, chacarera and zamba, the traditional dances from northern Argentina.
