The tour to El Chaltén starts at 7:00 am from your hotel in El Calafate towards the emblematic route 40, a route that will allow you to appreciate different views of Lake Argentino, the Santa Cruz River and the La Leona River. Throughout the tour you will be assisted by a bilingual guide, who will accompany you throughout the ride.

We will continue along the route and before reaching El Chaltén we will stop at the charming viewpoint of the Viedma Glacier, where you can see part of the Andes Mountains and the emblematic Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre.
Once in the town of El Chalten, the guide will give you a brief talk about the trekking and check that everything is in order to start the tour. You will continue the trip to the Rio de las Vueltas Valley up to Estancia El Pilar. This is the place where the 6-hour guided trekking starts along the Rio Blanco trail.
On this trail and during the trekking you will be able to appreciate the Piedras Blancas Glacier and the Capri Lagoon as well as the unmissable view of the Fitz Roy mountain.
