San Juan and La Rioja Vacation Package

We'll finish with a visit to the Interpretation Center and Museum of Natural Sciences. There part of the paleontological pieces that are in the property are exhibited and their importance is exposed.

We'll learn about how research, tracking, fossil recovery, and dinosaur assemblage are carried out.

At sunset, we'll return to the city of San Juan and the rest of the afternoon will be free.


Day 3: Visit to Talampaya Park

The meeting time will be at 7 am, we'll start our trip north along Route 40, crossing the San Juan River. We'll arrive at the border of San Juan with La Rioja, and then continue along route 76 to Talampaya National Park.

Here you will be able to do one of the two circuits offered in the park, it is done in private mode and must be paid directly at the park.

Circuit N°1: Talampaya Canyon Experience

In this circuit of 3 hours by minibus or minibus, we'll be able to know the irregularity of the walls of 150 meters high that open and close at every step, enveloping us in a dreamlike atmosphere. We'll be able to go on short walks to interact with this impressive place, in 4 different stations: Petroglyphs, Botanical Garden, Gothic Cathedral and El Monje.

Circuit N°2: 4x4 experience to Talampaya Canyon and Shimpa Canyon.

This excursion is done in special 4x4 with all comfort and wide windows so as not to miss any detail. This excursion has an additional ride, since in addition to the 4 previous stations we'll be touring the Shimpa Canyon, an atypical place populated by carob trees.

We'll return to the city of San Juan at the end of the afternoon, this will be the last night in San Juan.

Day 4: Goodbye San Juan

In the morning, after breakfast, we'll take you to the airport, just in time to catch your flight and say goodbye to this exotic Argentinean landscape.
