South American Highlights Trip Package

According to your flight, a driver will be waiting for us at the airport to take us to our hotel in downtown Buenos Aires. After the check in, you will have the rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 2. Walking Tour and Tango Show.

Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 10 AM you will leave from the office in San Telmo to visit the most beautiful and interesting corners of the city. You will make this tour on foot and by public transport, to travel like a real porteño.

Our tour will end in Recoleta at approximately 3 PM, having time on our own to visit the neighborhood.In the evening, between 8 and 8:30 PM you will pick you up at your selected hotels to enjoy a delicious dinner accompanied by an unforgettable tango show at El Querandí, one of the most popular tanguerias in San Telmo neighborhood. You will return to our selected hotels around midnight.

Day 3. Navigation in Tigre.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will meet at 9:45 AM at the boat terminal in the neighborhood of Puerto Madero (transfer to the terminal not included) to meet our guide. From here you will sail across the Rio de La Plata and the Tigre Deltato enjoy the best views of the city.

Once you arrive in Tigre you will make a tour to know the main attractions of the city, and you will make a visit on foot of the Port of Fruits. Finally, you will return to Buenos Aires by train to Retiro station, where the tour ends. (Transfer from Retiro station to the hotel is not included).

Day 4. Arrival to Mendoza.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be picked up from the hotel to the airport to take your flight to Mendoza. After the trip, a driver will be waiting for us at the Mendoza Airport to transfer us to our downtown hotel.

Day 5. High Mountain.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will leave early in the morning to travel along the Mendoza River. You will first visit the Uspallata pre-Hispanic settlement, the last southern point of the Inca Empire. You will pass through different villages until you reach Los Penitentes ski resort. Here you will have time to use the cable car and enjoy the beautiful views.You will continue our way to reach the viewpoint of Mount Aconcagua.

Finally you will visit the town of Las Cuevas. Here, between Las Cuevas and the international tunnel, is the path that allows you to climb the Cristo Redentor. This place located at 4200 meters above sea level symbolizes the union between Argentines and Chileans. After this visit, you will be returning to our selected hotels in Mendoza.

Day 6. Visit to wineries.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will have the morning free to visit the city of Mendoza, and at 2:30 PM you will be picked up to tour the vineyards located in the area of Lujan de Cuyo and Maipu. Here they will show us the methods of winemaking and the processes of elaboration, bottling and labeling of the wines. In addition, to accompany the tour, you will make a small tasting of these delicious wines.

You will also visit an olive growing establishment, where you will be able to observe the process of elaboration of the olive oil, where you will also be able to carry out a tasting.

Day 7. Arrival to Santiago de Chile.

Breakfast at the hotel. A driver will pick us up and drop us off at Mendoza Airport to take the flight to Santiago.Once there, you will be picked up at the airport in Santiago to be transported to our selected hotel. Rest of the day free to explore the city.

Day 8. City tour.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9 AM you will be picked up at our hotel to start the visit of the city in a tour of the most important areas of Santiago de Chile, which is a visit to the city on a tour of the most important historical, commercial and residential areas.

At the time of your reservation you can select the option to visit the city of Santiago de Chile, or you can choose a special tour where you will also get an interesting guided tour of the Santa Lucia Hill.

You will have a panoramic visit to the courtyards of the Government Palace La Moneda, the historic center of the Plaza de Armas, the Santa Lucia Hill, the Cathedral, the Central Post Office, the Municipality and the bohemian district of Bellavista, between others. It is an ideal excursion to know the highlights of the city. 

Day 9. Viña del Mar and Valparaiso.

Breakfast at the hotel. At 9 AM you will leave for the city of Valparaiso, where you will be dazzled by its landscapes and the houses on the cliffs. You will visit different important places in the city and also make a stop in Reñaca, where you will have time for lunch (lunch not included).

You will continue our way to Viña del Mar, where you will visit the Quinta Vergara, the Carrasco Palace and the Flower Clock among others. After the visit, you will be returning to our selected hotels in Santiago. Day 10. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. 

Your transport will take you to the airport in Santiago de Chile to take your flight to Rio. Once there, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel to check in and enjoy the rest of the day off.

Day 11. Corcovado and Sugar Loaf.

Breakfast at the hotel. At approximately 8 AM you will be picked up to go to the Corcovado Hill and the statue of Christ the Redeemer, located at 710 meters above sea level. You will be able to make the ascent in the historical train.

After contemplating the wonderful panoramic view of the city, you will enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before continuing our tour.After lunch you will visit Sugar Loaf Mountain, located at 395 meters above sea level, in the middle of Guanabara Bay.

The ascent is done by cable car to the top of the mountain, from which you have a wonderful 360° view of the Guanabara Bay, Copacabana, Urca, Botafogo, Flamengo and its surroundings.

Day 12. Visit to Buzios.

Breakfast at the hotel. You will leave from our selected hotels to Buzios, currently a luxury international destination. Here you will take a boat trip, visiting its beautiful coast. After the boat ride, lunch will be served in a restaurant in town.

The rest of the time it is possible to walk along the famous Rua das Pedras with its boutiques and handicraft shops before returning to the hotel in Rio de Janeiro. 

Day 13. Bye bye Rio.

According to your flight itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport, to continue your journey or return home.
