Itinerary The Tobacco Route in Salta
The tobacco tour in Salta starts at 9:00 a.m., we start our way to the Lerma Valley, the central place of the tobacco industry in the province of Salta.
The Lerma Valley, which is located at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level, during our visit we will know the towns of Cerrillos, Rosario de Lerma, Chicoana, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, where we can discover the tobacco fields, the production methods and the different varieties of tobacco produced in the area.
We then continue the tour by going to Cabra Corral Dam, where we will have free time for a delicious lunch (not included in the price). Afterwards, we will visit the Santa Anita Farm, where a Tobacco Museum is located, which tells the history of tobacco in Argentina.
