Founded in 1816 by General José Gervasio Artigas, hero and liberator of Uruguay (officially República Oriental del Uruguay), the city of Carmelo maintains a wealth of natural beauty and serenity, attracting people who visit in search of rest, beauty and comfort.
After being picked up at your hotel, travel from Colonia del Sacramento towards the Uruguay River.
